A Little About Us ...

Photography brought us together in our forties.  We came from different worlds and we met at just the right time to bring photography, which had always stood in the background for us, to the forefront of our work.  Hence the opening of our photography studio.

We photographed mostly people from the start.  We recognized that our strong point was in allowing people to feel comfortable, to be authentically themselves, and to open up.

We photographed our subjects with great love, and the photographs that resulted came out joyous and beautiful.
 

Every photograph contained something that went beyond.  We were drawn into conversations with the subjects of our photographs, and from this our project “My Piece of Happiness” was born.

For this project, we photograph people holding signs with their answer to the question: “What is missing today from my life in order to be happy?”  You can follow this project on instagram.

Next, we developed our Mi/Li workshops - An exploratory experience which involves seeking an answer to a question using the medium of photography as a tool and inspiration.  Relevant questions that may be explored include:

What is singular about me,  and how does this trait serve me? 

What color do I contribute to the management team?

What have I been going through over the years?

What group symbolizes me?

What feminine qualities have helped me most up to now?

What kind of child was I?

And many more...

One of our greatest loves is to “dismantle” people, to ease their fears and resistance and to move forward together on a collective journey of discovery.   

​

Mi/Li workshops take the group to boundless levels of inspiration.  Through the task of photographing in the heart of the modern art scene of Tel Aviv, visiting artists specializing in a range of subjects and mediums in their studios, and receiving practical photographic tools and knowledge, each of our participants finds a unique way to answer the particular question of the workshop.

Our workshops are well-suited for organizations as well as private events such as birthday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and more.
